Women’s Working Group on Financing for Development (WWG on FfD)

The session introduces the Campaign of Campaigns, a mobilisation and advocacy strategy to promote a “package” of macro-economic global demands devised jointly by the Women’s Working Group on Financing for Development (WWG on FfD) and the CSO FfD Group. It aims to galvanize collective efforts to promote solidarity across movements.

This session is conceived to present the Campaign of Campaigns proposal for a global alliance while recognising the diversity of our voices and needs, with plenty of interest to know how we can best support and enhance existing efforts to mobilise and do advocacy.

We will discuss ways of collaboration, with a special interest on how macro challenges have a face of their own at local and national level: debt, illicit financial flows, trade agreements, among others – each of these shape different realities and enhance specific challenges. This session will be focused on learning in a participatory manner from the participants the different mechanisms we can use as activists to make more visible those connections.
