At A Glance

The Global Tribunal will be presided over by five thematic Jury Working Groups. The Jury Working Groups aim to replace the hierarchical nature of traditional tribunals, whereby a select few judges are authorised as having the expertise and knowledge to form recommendations.

The Global Tribunal of Women Workers seeks to break these barriers and recognise women workers as keepers and producers of knowledge, analysis and recommendations. Each Jury Working Group is comprised of:

The Jury Working Groups will analyse the testimonies presented during the Global Tribunal and identify the rights violations against women workers to ultimately formulate context-specific, nuanced and clear recommendations to duty bearers.
